The church was originally dedicated as Scotstoun United Free Church in 1906, moving into the church of Scotland and becoming Scotstoun East church in 1929. The Parish later amalgamated with those of Scotstoun West and, most recently, Whiteinch, becoming known as Scotstoun Parish Church.
