About Torrance
Torrance Parish Church (TPC) desires that its people would make Jesus known by word and deed through loving service in their daily lives in the village, throughout the wider church and wherever God sets them.
Vision Statement
For God’s glory, Torrance Parish Church of Scotland exists to make disciples for Jesus Christ in Torrance and beyond by equipping and encouraging God’s people through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Weekly service times:
10.30am - all age service (including crèche and full children’s programme for age ranges up to 18.)
Evening Meeting (1st and 3rd Sunday of the month 6.30pm) - to pause and hear God’s direction and word, with opportunities to praise, share and pray.
Other regular weekly activities
Community Café - Every Wednesday during term time 9 – 12pm
Prayer meetings Wednesday 9.15am on zoom and 7.30pm in the church meeting room
Girls’ Brigade every Wednesday during term time from 6.15pm
Boys’ Brigade every Thursday during term time 7-9pm
Men’s Meeting every Monday 7.30 – 9pm
Stitch and Enrich Group (Knitting/Crocheting) 1st and 3rd Tuesday 7-8.30pm
Monthly activities:
Singalong (dementia friendly) - 3rd Thursday 1.30 – 3pm
Friendship Lunch for the retired - 1st Tuesday at 12.30pm
Crossover youth club for P7 - S3 - 1st Saturday during term time 7-9pm
Crossover youth café 3rd Saturday during term time 7-9pm
