New Minister for Orchardhill Church_{Published 08 Dec 2021}

Rev Gillian Rooney is the new Minister of Orchardhill Church of Scotland in Giffnock. Gillian was inducted at a special service last week.

Gillian worked as an occupational therapist in the NHS before deciding to enter the ministry. For the past 15 months she has been a probationer and locum minister at Orchardhill. 

Gillian said, “As I got to know and love this community I knew that I wanted to stay and be a part of the story of faith in this area.  Orchardhill is very much a parish church with a real concern for the community and their neighbours. Over these next few months I am keen to continue to build upon relationships and connections already formed and see where God leads us.”
