A Service of Remembrance for Guernsey’s Scottish Evacuees—a moment to honour and remember the many children and families evacuated from Guernsey to Scotland during the Second World War. This event acknowledges the kindness, hospitality, and solidarity extended by Scottish communities, many of whom welcomed evacuees into their homes, schools, and churches.

The service will be held simultaneously at St Andrew’s in the Grange (Guernsey) and at Glasgow Cathedral on 9th May 2025 at 9.30am, symbolising the deep ties between our two places.
